LITHOS AMMOS
Interactive Light Installation

Lithos ammos is an interactive installation initially imagined for the museum of Amboise. It stages illustrations and original parchments preserved by the museum through projections on a table covered with 200 kg of white sand in reference to the proximity of the Loire. A dozen pebbles allow to interact with the animations and offer a projection surface revealing the images buried under the sand. This installation offers a poetic reading of the Ambatian epistolary heritage rocked by the river currents and the imaginary sandbanks created in real time by a software developed to measure. A dozen paintings allow children and adults to discover these buried animations with a soundtrack.
A more voluminous version, "Ecosystem", was created for the maritime museum of La Rochelle. The stones have been replaced by resin sea urchin tests. It was exposed from 2020 to 2022.
