The Detroit Institute of Arts Museum
The "PARALLELS" project molds the architectural facade of The Detroit Institute of Arts Museum together with his virtual algorithmic clone. It choreographs every stones and lines of the museum in a poetic ballet borrowed from technology where heritage and modern co-exist. The thousands of blocks under the algorithm logic will create the illusion of a complex but consistent metamorphosis with the structure of the museum. With a singular aesthetic focusing on the lines and points, it combines projection, light and laser in the pursuit of an innovative and poetic narrative. Some scenes are inspired by the collection of the museum.
