YANN NGUEMA
Issu d’un parcours scientifique, Yann Nguema s’est finalement orienté vers la création artistique. Musicien, il a fondé le groupe EZ3kiel en 1992 pour lequel il a développé l’intégralité d’une foisonnante production visuelle devenue une référence et une marque de fabrique. Il axe son travail principalement autour du spectacle vivant avec une constante recherche autour de l’association image-musique. Très rapidement il intègre l’outil informatique à son processus de création en développant ses propres logiciels et rajoute une dimension interactive à ses productions. Concepteur d’expositions, d’installations, de scénographie, il a conçu de nombreux projets articulant technologie, recherche et poésie. Il est actuellement artiste ambassadeur pour la Fête des lumières de Lyon.
After scientific studies, Yann Nguema finally opted to the artistic creation. Musician, he founded the EZ3kiel group in 1992 for which he developed an entire burgeoning visual production, now became a reference and a trademark in France. He first gained recognition for his graphic work which has a very personal and poetic feel.
Very early, he joined computers to his creative process in developing its own software and he added an interactive dimension to his productions. He’s the designer of many projects which are articulating technology, research and poetry. He specialized in atypical and unique projects, with the constant will to give them an interactive dimension. He is currently an ambassador artist for the Festival of Lights in Lyon.
