PRO PACE
Stadshuset
Stockholm- Sweden- 2025
The “PRO PACE” project was screened on the Stadshuset during the 2025 Nobel Week Light Festival, organized by the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm.  It focuses specifically on the Nobel Peace Prize. The title of the project, ‘PRO PACE,’ is taken from the text on the reverse side of the medal awarded to Nobel Peace Prize laureates.‘Pro pace et fraternitate gentium,’ which translates as ‘For peace and brotherhood among men.

The project highlights a selection of topics related to the Nobel Peace Prize. The first two scenes will focus on the Nobel event and the venue for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway. The following tables will be dedicated to some of the Nobel Peace Prize laureates. The choice of organisations or personalities was mainly based on the resonance of their actions or fights with our current events. Some of the causes defended by the laureates are still particularly threatened today, and I think it is interesting and important to (re)highlight them during this event. This selection cannot be exhaustive and does not reflect any hierarchy among the laureates.
